THE HOME LIBRARY ONLINE GOES OFFLINE

The Home Library is now closed.  We are intending to reopen in May 2010 after moving to our new home. 

In the meantime, we are still having a clearance sale of all our existing stock which you will find listed at http://www.teachingourown.com/.  To order those titles, please send an email to thehomelibrary@gmail.com with the book titles.

2009 IS ENDING

We used to have a section here about what the Ng Family who run the Home Library was doing in 2009.  Now that it is drawing to a close, here's a recount of what we have done:

Homeschooling - We have just concluded our 5th homeschool year and are even more gungho about homeschooling than ever before!  We started the year with 3 students and ended it with 4!  Alethea is now 9 and will be in Primary 4 next year.  Timothy is now 7 and will be in Primary 2.  Nathalie will be turning 5 on New Year's Eve and will be in K2 next year.  Daniel, who provides endless entertainment in our school, turns 7 months on the 12th of December.

Teaching Our Own - We started the year with a school name, The Domus Academy (Domus means Home in Latin) and had a blogsite named after it.  But after a bit of a legal hassle, we have had to give that name up.  Our new blogsite is http://www.teachingourown.com/, but our school is back to being nameless.  :(

The Home Library - The Home Library turned 4 in October 09 and continues to be a big part of our family and what we do to help, encourage and support fellow homeschoolers and parents.  But with an upcoming move to a new home and our plan to go maid-less after the move, we are closing the Home Library till end March 2010.  If you would like to keep in touch with what's going on in our lives, plesae subscribe to our blog.
